Contingency Fee Representation

Attorney Fees Explained

Access to justice should not depend on your bank account.

How Contingency Fees Work

We handle all personal injury and civil rights cases on a “contingency fee” basis. This means:

  1. No Hourly Billing: Contingency-fee representation does not require hourly attorney-fee payments.
  2. We Advance Costs: The firm pays for filing fees, expert witnesses, and medical records.
  3. Fee Terms Are Written: The fee is a percentage of any recovery, and the terms are reviewed in writing before representation begins.

Case Cost Review

Before representation begins, we review how attorney fees and case costs are handled so you can evaluate the agreement before signing.

What Percentage Do You Take?

As is standard in Oklahoma, our fee is typically 33% to 40% of the total recovery, depending on the complexity of the case and whether it requires a trial. We discuss fees transparently during attorney review, and you will receive a written fee agreement before we begin work.

Why We Work This Way

Injury victims often face huge medical bills and lost income. The last thing they need is a lawyer adding to their financial burden. Contingency fees let clients pursue serious claims without paying attorney fees upfront.
